Went there for breakfast during our stay at langkawi . The process was smooth from booking till arriving at the place. Nestled in a beautifully designed resort the restaurant is spacious,practically designed with numerous food option for every palate. The view from the restaurant is towards hotel's infiniti swimming pool and sea which adds more value to the time spent there.

THE CROISSANT IS HEAVEN. We’ve had it every single morning—absolute perfection. Our ranking from the menu: the Roti is the best, followed by the Dosa and Eggs Benedict (not bad!). Pancake and Waffle are just mediocre. French Toast is basically just a cut of toast—tastes like it hasn't been soaked in the egg mixture at all.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Planter's at The Danna Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, offering a wonderful selection of both local and international dishes. From fresh fruits and pastries to made-to-order omelets and traditional Malaysian cuisine, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We also had the opportunity to try the dinner buffet on Saturday, and it did not disappoint. The array of dishes was impressive, and each item we tried was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of our meal, providing a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. A special shoutout goes to Chef Dato' Pari, who made our dining experience even more memorable by personally checking in with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. His attentiveness and dedication to his craft were evident and greatly appreciated. Overall, Planter's at The Danna Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a wonderful setting. We will definitely be back!

We had our daily breakfast here as well as one dinner during our stay. This was a great place for a quiet and quality meal. We sat outside before the weather got hot and enjoyed our food. In addition to the Terrace Italian food, this place is a great option too.

It’s a well-crafted indulgence that pairs beautifully with the bar’s colonial charm and sunset views over the marina. Service here is attentive but never intrusive, and the ambience is quietly luxurious — soft lighting, polished wood interiors, and a sense of calm sophistication that invites conversation and reflection. Excellent breakfast buffet and fantastic service. I loved the mix of local Malaysian flavors and international ones. Do not miss the Malaysian kuehs, and also the hot counters of dosa, roti canai, nasi lemak, stirfry, and fresh curries. Special mention to Wahyu at the fresh juice and kopi/teh counter. He makes an amazing customized Milo Monster Milotini.....a special Malaysian take on the Vodka Martini. Great boozy fun for breakfast. Kudos!

Based of some of this restaurant's previous less-than-fair reviews, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt. Breakfast buffet was truly splendid and offered a multitude of cuisines, with a handful of less popular choices still made excellently regardless. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Also tried the dinner buffet which had a promotion as well as special cuisines served. Again, the food was fantastic and the staff/service was excellent. Overall, as a hotel guest the dining experience here was more-than-satisfactory and left little-to-no room for disappointment.

The breakfast buffet ala carte options were very interesting! However, some of the dishes were abit lacklustre and inconsistent. The service however, and ambiance is top notch and they catered to all of our requests. There was also one very sweet lady who was giving out croissants, named Dal (take note of her she’s awesome) and she greeted everyone with hot croissants and a smiley shining attitude! Thank you for making our day!
